Q1.What is the most effective format for an eClassifieds Ad?
Ads for the eClassifieds should be brief, to the point, but effective. Use a catchy phrase for the title and a concise descritpion of the product or service you are trying to sell. Picture images always enhance any ad. Or use a flyer document to accompany your text info. Make sure there is a phone, e-mail, weblink and point of contact for potential buyers to reach you. Due to text space limits, we don't recommend leaving an entire description about your company in the listing.
Q2.What info should be contained in the Business Directory?
We've setup the Business Directory to be just that, a complete list of companies that provide a service. Someone browsing your company profile will want to know what your company does, where you are located, how to contact you, if you have a website, an e-mail address, read your slogan and/or a description about your services.
Q3.How do I get my listings more noticed?
You have a choice of subscription upgrade options for the Business Directory and eClassifieds. Our Basic and Bronze level listings are FREE, but if you have more to say or have a mutli-faceted business with several products to feature, you should refer to the pricing for plan that best suits your interests. Subscription upgrades enable more listing features, show more information about your listing, and inlcude banner ads. Some subscription options are flexible and may even be combined. Inquire about details.
Q4.Do I need to register an account for both the Business Directory and eClassifieds?
No, it is not necessary. The systems are seperate, but you are able to use the same user login for both areas. This was designed to make the listing management much easier for our subscribers.
Q5.What happens if I forget my login username or password?
You can use the password reminder link on the user login page. You will be prompted for the username or e-mail address attached to your account. The system administrator will forward a set of temporary login credentials to the designated e-mail address in a few minutes. Once you login successfully you can change the temporary password. BE ADVISED that if you reset your password at any time, it will reset the password for both the Biz Directory and eClassifieds. The systems are seperate, but the user logins for subscribers are the same for both areas.
